InstaMorph DIY Moldable Plastic, Make Your Own Pivot Cups

InstaMorph^® is a lightweight thermoplastic used to create replacement pivot cups for discontinued or vintage roller skates when there are no other suitable replacement parts. 

Roller skate pivot cups help cushion the space between the truck and the plate. Over time the rubber or plastic degrades. We recommend replacing your pivot cups every 1-2 years for optimal performance. If you cannot find suitable pivot cups for your vintage or discontinued roller skates, consider making your own custom fit pivot cups from InstaMorph^® pellets. 

InstaMorph^® is a lightweight polyester thermoplastic that is moldable when heated, and cools into a strong, hard plastic. Each bag contains over 20g of thermoplastic beads, enough to make 4 pivot cups. 

• Heating above 150 degrees farenheit does not increase product performance and may increase the risk of scalding. 
• When warm, InstaMorph may stick to certain types of materials. 
• Avoid exposing your skates to extreme heat. 

Medusa Skates is not responsible for damage to your skate that may result from use of this product. We are not responsible for any injuries that may occur should you fall while roller skating on pre-owned or vintage skates.

Roller skates do not last forever. Pre-owned or vintage skates can have other worn out components that may increase your risk of injury or further damage to the skate. 

We cannot confirm the longevity of these pivot cups compared to traditional pivot cups.
