Pivot Cup for PowerDyne Thrust, Triton, Dynapro, Rival or Revenge Plate (Single)
One pivot cup for either Powerdyne Thrust, Triton, Dynapro or Rival plates. These parts are meant to wear out over time and are super important to replace. If you notice one of your pivot cups has degraded, chances are all 4 need replacing!
Price is per ONE pivot cup. Each plate requires 2 pivot cups, please purchase 4 for a full set.
There are two types available that will fit differently depending on your pivot arm and plate.
- Newer plate styles use a thicker pivot arm and require the thinner delrin pivot cup.
- Older plate styles generally have a narrow pivot arm and require the thicker rubber pivot cup. Rival and Revenge plates require the rubber pivot cup.
*As of Fall 2024 Riedell has stopped manufacturing the rubber pivot cups. Users of older or discontinued plates have several options for keeping their plate in working condition. Please note that these solutions are not perfect. We are not responsible for any damage to your skates that may occur when substituting replacement parts.
- Use the new delrin pivot cups and replace all 4 trucks with the new, PowerDyne Thrust Trucks (15 degree). Note, this may not work for all plates.
- Substitute a different brand of pivot cups:
- Sure-Grip Universal (outer diameter is slightly too large and will require sanding down)
- Sunlite Pivot Cups (slightly too short)
- Marvel Pivot Cups (outer diameter is too small, will not fully fill the space)
- Make new pivot cups with moldable plastic.
- Upgrade to a new plate.
