Sitting atop Rock double action nylon plates and trucks, the GT50 has 62mm Hyper Sonic wheels and Magnum Speed ABEC 5 bearings. Adjustable toe stops provide the slow down on this skate outfit. Sure-grip Rock GT-50
Had to stop in to say I LOVE these skates. I got rainbow riders as a gift last holiday season and could NEVER get comfortable in them. They hurt, they have no give, and I rarely would put them on. Fast forward to becoming kinda obsessed again with wanting to do Derby, I got wind of a "special version" of these (ahem Dr. Pepper)And was gifted these this past month... exact same skates just different colors/ print... and they are STELLAR. I skate every day now. They glide like butter, I loosened the trucks a 1/4 and 1/2 turn as needed, and I'm zooming around my tiny space now. They are SUPER comfortable, light enough, super padded, and all around amazing. I DO, however, need to change the laces to waxed because these do have some slip to them. Other than that, so far, these are AMAZING for beginner derby skaters. (I need to also change my wheels to some gummies I bought from Medusa last year - currently on skates that finally fell apart - LOL- but I love what's on them so much I'm taking my time.) Can't recommend highly enough, and I am SO thankful for the recommendation I found on MEDUSA for mentioning that the "classic starter" Riedell R-3's are not good for wide feet (hello!), and suggesting these GT-50's because these babies are AMAZING. *****
