Our Roller Derby "Fresh Meat" Starter Package has everything you need to begin playing roller derby! This package includes a pair of derby-ready roller skates, a dual-certified helmet, and all required protective equipment (wrist guards, elbow pads, knee pads and a heat-moldable basic mouth guard). The base price of $284.99 includes the Riedell Dart, Triple 8 Sweatsaver Helmet, 187 Killer Pads Six Pack, and a Basic Mouth Guard. Upgrades are available at additional cost!

1. Choose Your Skate

Available in men's whole sizes 1-15. For women's sizing order 1-2 sizes down.

• Riedell Dart (Black Only)
  • Black synthetic boot with padded interior and fairly standard toe box.

• Upgrade to the Sure-Grip Rock GT-50 (+$10) or the Riedell R3 (+$20)
  • Both are lighter weight with nylon plates and slightly more comfortable than the Dart.
  • The Rock GT-50 is the widest and most padded of the options at this level. 

2. Choose Your Helmet

Measure the circumference of your head starting in the middle of your forehead. Triple 8 helmets have several outer shell sizes, each comes with 2 sets of liners to customize fit. S1 helmets all have the same size outer shells. Sizing is determined solely by the liner thickness. If your measurements are between sizes we recommend choosing the larger size.

3. CHOOSE YOUR SAFETY GEAR SIZE

Measure circumference of extended knee and elbow, and measure hand circumference at the knuckles. If your measurements are between sizes we recommend choosing the larger size.
