The Solaris by Riedell is a completely redesigned quad skating boot for the derby and skating community. New features include the revolutionary V-Lock strap, Dynamic Response Outsole, new C/AA Contour Fit Last and a lacing pattern that goes all the way down to the toe box. The Solaris is comfortable, light, and stylish. Riedell claims that this boot is the best and most technologically advanced quad skating boot they have ever built.

DETAILS:

The Last - The Solaris is built on our new C/AA CoutourFit last, which features a modern, natural shaped toe area; a design that more naturally follows the shape of the foot.

The Outsole - The all-new Dynamic Response Outsole of the Riedell Solaris is durable, light, sleek, and modern. Stronger than traditional leather, but lighter in weight, the Outsole is not a carbon fiber component, but a composite material that has a strength-to-weight ratio similar to carbon fiber

The Heel Closure - The V-Lock, pictured in white, offers unmatched heel security without irritation. Its strategically positioned to secure the back of the foot lower than traditionally located straps or webbing systems and it wraps around the sides and top of the foot at the instep and ankle area to offer unmatched heel security.

The Collar - The collar is rolled and curved to gently caress the natural shape of the ankle.

The Tongue - The tongue features our signature "Fox" double-slit panel to eliminate tongue rotation. Additionally, the tongue features true dual density padding to prevent lace bite.

The Lining - The all-new perforated microfiber liner offers increased durability and reduces foot slippage. Advanced treatments provide odor and moisture resistance.

The Support - The Solaris is equipped with new, lighter, less-rigid heat-moldable material on both sides of both boots.

Please note that since this is a custom ColorLab skate it will take additional time to be made and shipped. Please allow 12 to 14 weeks for production and shipping. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom boots. Order cannot be cancelled once submitted with manufacturer.

Note about metallic finish: Metallic leather is not recommended for the tongue of the boot.  Due to production processes, there may be scuffing and damage to the metallic finish.  Riedell has no way to repair these blemishes.  Also, abrasion of the laces will rub the metallic finish off.  If the customer wants to proceed with metallic on the tongue of the boot, they will accept the boots as is.
